Minnie's Z-Friend

I know you've all been dying to know. It's true! My little girl is growing up. I've known for a while now that she had a "special" friend that she spent all day gazing out the screen door at. Her several recent attempts to break out of the house were futile efforts to encounter her friend. The only question was whether Miss Minnie had a boyfriend or a girlfriend, so we just decided to call him/her her z-friend.

Well, the other day I lured Minnie's friend over with some treats that were ultimately rejected, but I had enough of a chance to catch a glimpse at the goods and... turns out we have a boy! Then he let me pet his scraggly little head for a while, and he was kind enough to pose for this photo.

Sadly, turns out that Minnie is just a chip off the ol' block as far as taste in guys goes. Not the finest fellow around, but I guess he will do for now.
